Science communications are often met with the challenge of audiences cannot see the microscopic world with their naked eyes.
Therefore, when we started working with Transcenta, a clincial stage biopharmaceutical company that focuses on antibody based biotherapeutics discovery and development, we decided early on to rely on our 3D expertise and create refined 3D animated imagery to engage our audience directly on the science visualisation and interpretation.
Serving as the key science expert for REN, Dr. Alastair Louey vetted every bit of science in dialogue with Transcenta team in order to ensure scientific accuracy before we moved on to the creative process.
While we were in the creative process, we created a bespoke pipeline to be able to receive protein structures from PyMOL and bring it into our 3D software for photo-realistic renders. The result is a medical animation filled with colourful and captivating visuals that effectively communicates the science.
Since the release of the animation, Transcenta has used it for their website, crossover round, and for its initial public offering on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange raising HKD 645.28 million.
