Needle injection is a standard treatment for ocular diseases, but the process is often too scary that it deters people from seeking treatment. To solve this, Opharmic has developed an alternative solution named MeticTouch that employs low-frequency ultrasound to deliver therapeutics non-invasively into the eye.
Because MeticTouch is a state-of-the-art technology, the goal of the film is therefore to demystify the process by using simple and clean visuals to help educate potential customers and assure them the safety of the technology at the same time.
Since people cannot see the microscopic world with their naked eyes, we decided early on to rely on our 3D expertise to create refined 3D imagery to engage our audiences directly on the science visualisation and interpretation.
Serving as the key science expert for REN, Dr. Alastair Louey has also vetted every bit of science in dialogue with Opharmic team to ensure scientific accuracy before we moved on to the production process.
We believe that nothing enchants human beings more than beauty. Therefore, we spent a lot of efforts in the final stage of the production to create outstanding color aesthetics and sound designs that helps elevate the film from being just a medical animation to a piece of art on its own.
By combining concise language and engaging visual design, we created an animation film that not only presents Opharmic's technology in a clear and non-threatening way, but also helps elevate Opharmic's brand value and build trusts with potential customers in the audience.
